Acknowledgement of Country

Kaya (Hello). I acknowledge that we live and work on Noongar Boodjar, the ancestral and unceded lands of the Noongar people who have been custodians of these lands for over 60,000 years.

As someone with Yamaji heritage, I pay my deepest respects to Elders past and present of both the Noongar and Yamaji nations and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I recognise the enduring connection to land, waters, and culture that First Nations peoples maintain across this continent, and I honour their continuing contributions to our community.

I am proud of my Yamaji ancestry and committed to walking together with all First Nations peoples in a spirit of reconciliation, respect, and partnership.
